This project required a large amount of excavation from a very awkward spot at the top of Marford hill, near Wrexham. The retaining wall was built using steel gabions filled with rock and a further reinforced concrete wall, and faced using natural York stone walling to create a natural feel. A water feature and lighting further enhanced the wall and Fosill Buff natural sandstone paving blends well with the stone.
