Countryside Retreat The clients brief for this garden was to create a flowing terraced area around the perimeter of the house, large enough for outdoor summer dining and playing for children and sweeping curved pathways to link the area across the garden to the driveway.A raised natural stone terrace was decided upon encouraging the view across their cottage garden and out to the Cheshire plains, bringing the countryside into the garden to widen the perspective of the landscape. Winding reclaimed brick pathways were laid leading from both sides of the terrace merging into one leading down under a rustic rose arch to allow a sense of privacy and secrecy as you entered.
