As you will see from the picture we were given a wild overgrown garden to transform into a modern minimalistic space.  The client wanted a low maintenance garden due to their busy schedules so we incorporated raised borders retained by sleepers set in a curve to line the edge of a pathway leading around the lawn.  As the area was all one level, we raised one of the terraces so that the garden could be fully enjoyed from this area.  All the areas were shaped to link together and create fusion across the design.  Finally to add the relaxing sound of trickling water, an imposing slate monolith was added.
